Idea and design

Dr. Adolfo García specializes in the neuroscience of language and communication. He serves as Director of the Cognitive Neuroscience Center (UdeSA), Senior Atlantic Fellow at the Global Brain Health Institute (UCSF), Associate Researcher at USACH, Director of Language Science at Redenlab, Professor of Neurolinguistics at UNCuyo, and President of the TREC Network. He has published over 190 publications and offered 220 lectures and presentations. Moreover, he is the host of the TV show “Of brains and words” and of a radio column titled “Mind and communication.” His scientific contributions have been recognized by awards and distinctions from the Linguistic Association of Canada and the United States, the Argentine Association of Behavioral Science, the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Nataša Pavlović teaches translation theory and practice at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Her research interests include translation process research, translator education, translation technology, and research methodology. She is co-editor of The Interpreter and Translator Trainer and a member of the TREC Network.

Dr. Anne Catherine Gieshoff currently holds a post-doc position at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and has been collecting first-hand experience in employing quantitative and psychophysiological methods in interpreting studies. She is a member of IATIS, EST and the TREC Network. Her research focuses on cognitive load, visual input, technology in interpreting.
